IQF Alphonso mango slices Overview
IQF Alphonso mango dice/slices are produced from fresh, sorted, and ripened Alphonso mangoes cultivated naturally. Mangopoint offers the highest standard Alphonso mango in the form of frozen Alphonso mango slices/dice. The Alphonso variety is the most expensive type of mango, primarily grown in the Konkan region of western India and widely cultivated in Karnataka. This seasonal fruit is available from April to June.
Processed IQF Alphonso mangoes are available throughout the year. Known for their high brix level, creamy texture, non-fibrous nature, and juicy pulp, Alphonso mangoes are a staple in the beverage industry. Their sweetness and distinctive flavor make them an important ingredient in the food processing industry, used as Alphonso mango pulp and chunks. Individually Quick Frozen Alphonso mango dice are made from sound, mature Alphonso mangoes, and are completely GMO-free.
Hand-prepared slices from ripened fruit are frozen in a Blast Freezer at -18 degrees Celsius, then inspected, packed, and passed through a metal detector. The entire processing line ensures the highest standards of hygiene.

Mangopoint offers IQF Alphonso mango slices measuring 60×40 mm, made from fresh Alphonso mangoes. The IQF Alphonso mango dice are oblong, and sizes vary. Due to the fruit’s geometry, 70-75% of the dice will have two sides of the desired size, with 25% being irregularly shaped.

Manufacturing Process
Mangopoint’s process for making frozen Alphonso mango dice/slices starts with mature, ripe, and fresh Alphonso mangoes. These are sorted by color, size, and maturity, and then washed to remove dust and impurities. The mangoes are manually peeled and sliced into 60 x 40 mm pieces, then diced to 20 x 25 mm. They are frozen in a blast freezer at -30 to -40 degrees Celsius and inspected for quality. The frozen dice pass through a 10mm mesh vibrator for size consistency, and vertical airflow technology is used for uniform freezing. The product is then packed in 10kg food-grade LDPE bags, placed in 5-ply corrugated cartons, and passed through a metal detector.
